Friends of Scituate’s Future

Scituate, Massachusetts had the oldest middle school in the state, topping 100 years in operation.  FoSF was founded to improve the middle school education available to Scituate’s students by establishing funding for a new school.  In a 4 year timeframe, the group was instrumental in securing 3 successful votes for a new school, a $75M initiative, the largest in the town’s history. Additionally, the school was funded through the MSBA program which funded over $20M of the expected costs.  Jen Morrison founded and led this organization and was recognized for working closely with the School Superintendent, School Committee, Board of Selectman, Town Administrator and all the different groups in town.
